Debstar is a local driving school led by Deborah. With 30 years as a qualified early childhood educator alongside expansive transport experience—spanning cars, motorbikes, boats, trucks, and running a limousine and coach company—she offers grounded, real-world safety knowledge.

Lessons take place in modern, dual-controlled hybrid vehicles, building skills on local test routes in a calm, supportive environment designed to help every learner drive with confidence.

3 for 1 bonus hours

Learner drivers can log bonus hours under the Transport for NSW initiative when training with Debstar Driver Training:

3-for-1 Bonus: Every 1-hour lesson with a Debstar instructor counts as 3 hours in your logbook (1 actual hour + 2 bonus hours).
10-Hour Cap: You can apply this bonus for up to 10 lesson hours, earning a maximum of 20 bonus hours total.
Unlimited Lessons: Take as many Debstar lessons as you like, but logbook bonus hours max out at 20.
Night Lessons: Bonus hours always count as daytime driving—only the actual 1 hour spent driving at night counts toward your required night hours.

Driving since 1977, Deborah brings extensive real-world experience across cars, trucks, coaches, and SES emergency vehicles to Debstar Driver Training. Her background operating transport businesses ensures students gain a solid, practical foundation in road safety.

As a former educator of 30 years, mother, and grandmother, Deborah specializes in trauma-informed and neurodivergent-friendly instruction. She uses a patient, community-focused approach to empower every learner to become a safe, confident driver for life.
